Responsible use

A journal-level metric is one source of information.

Researchers should also review the journal’s scope, editorial policies, peer-review process, publication ethics, licensing, archives and suitability for their work. SIIFI journal metrics must not be used to evaluate an individual article, author, researcher, university or employment candidate.
