ABOUT SIIFI

Independent evaluation, clearly explained

SIIFI provides a framework for documenting journal evaluations and making authorised annual results and verification references publicly accessible.

Purpose and scope

Scholarly Intelligence & Impact Factor Index (SIIFI) is an independent journal evaluation initiative. Its public records are designed to distinguish a journal’s identity, its evaluation year and the status of any published outcome.

What the platform provides

Visitors can browse permanent journal profiles, search by journal title or ISSN, and review eligible published annual evaluation records. A journal may have a pending evaluation even when an earlier-year metric was published.

Evaluation management

SIIFI operates with one authorised Master Admin who manages the evaluation records and publication decisions. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, a score or issuance of a certificate.

Independent metric clarification

SIIFI metrics are independent indicators, not the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) published by Clarivate’s Journal Citation Reports (JCR). Inclusion in SIIFI does not imply indexing or endorsement by other services.

Transparency

Each published metric should identify its actual year and applicable methodology. Corrections and revocations must remain traceable rather than silently altering older published records.
